Halloween Tie Dye T-Shirts
Have you noticed that tie dye is absolutely everywhere??? We are definitely here for this trend so we decided to incorporate our favorite holiday and make these colorful, fun Tie Dye Jack o' Lantern Tees. This is a great activity to do with kids as long as you don't mind them getting a little messy.
What you need:
A white cotton t-shirt
The tulip tie dye kit you can get one here
(Or you just need rubber bands, orange fabric dye, black fabric dye, 2 squeeze bottles, and a black fabric marker)
Rubber Gloves (several pairs)
Start off by wrapping the T-shirt with rubber bands in 3 sections. Pull the middle of the shirt up and secure with a rubber band. Create 2 more sections equally spaced apart going down the rest of the shirt.
After putting on your rubber gloves dip the first section (the middle of the shirt) into the orange dye. You can also saturate the shirt with the dye using the squeeze bottle.
For the second section, cover the half closest to the orange section you just created in orange dye. Leave a small space and cover the other remaining fabric with the black dye.
The last section (which will be the bottom part of the shirt and the sleeves) you will cover in black dye. Let dry completely.
Once the shirt is dry, remove the rubber bands and draw your jack o' lantern face with the fabric marker. Voila! Your creation is ready to rock that Halloween event!
